Adam’s Polishes Hand Sanitizer & Disinfectant Spray

As most of you know by now, it’s nearly impossible to get your hands on hand sanitizer these days. Due to the pandemic, there is a shortage on isopropyl alcohol.

Turns out, Adam’s Polishes shifted manufacturing from car care products – the best in the world mind you, to help out with the national shortage.

They are now manufacturing their own hand sanitizer, surface disinfectant cleaner, hand soap, and a few car care products with Microban.

Note that their hand sanitizer is alcohol-based and their disinfectant cleaner contains Benzalkonium Chloride, which I believe is the main active ingredient in other popular disinfectant wipes, and sprays, such as Lysol.

Note, their hand sanitizer contains Hydrogen Peroxide, which causes a slight after-smell, which I could care less about, but it seems to generate some negative reviews for them. When you apply it, you’ll smell the alcohol, once it dries a few seconds later, you’ll smell the Hydrogen Peroxide.

Personally, I just started using their surface disinfectant cleaner as we went through our two remaining tubs of Lysol disinfectant wipes, and I wish I switched sooner. What an AMAZING product. It doesn’t smell nearly as chemically as Lysol, so I feel a lot safer using it, and it just works wonderfully. I was using Windex with Ammonia on the countertops and I started using Adam’s surface disinfectant cleaner, and they have never looked so good. No film is left behind, it smells GREAT, and it disinfects.
